Breathe Easy Tea Blend

Our every-season blend, and one of the first we ever made. It's built on the herbs herbalists have long turned to for the lungs: mullein leaf, considered a respiratory tonic in herbal tradition, with coltsfoot, elecampane and lobelia, rounded out by comfrey, licorice root and mint. Soft and green, with an earthy base, a cool breath of mint and a natural sweetness from the licorice root, so it rarely needs honey. It's the cup we keep on hand all year: through dry winter days, when the pollen comes in each spring, and again as summer turns to fall. Steep it long; this one rewards patience.
